New Chief Election Commissioner of India is Shree Rajiv Kumar and he is appointed as the 25th new Chief Election Commissioner on 15th May 2022. Rajiv Kumar replaces Shree Sushil Chandra and also he has working as Election Commissioner in Election Commission of India since September 2020.

In the constitution of India, Article 324 provides that the power to conduct free and fair election to the National and State legislature and also president and vice president.
